93Mustang Posts: 65 Rating: (0)	I tying to send data between an MP-277 10" touch panel and an S7-300 plc (CPU 315T-2 DP). I've done this before but with a CPU 315T-2 DP and I was able to send / receive data. Is there programming required for the CP 343-1 to transfer the data ???

There are also getting started for WinCC Flexible with a software example: WinCC flexible Getting Started First Time User WinCC flexible Getting Started Power User WinCC flexible Getting Started Options Look especially to the "Info" to the right of the download

93Mustang Posts: 65 Rating: (0)	I had a working example with similar hardware to use. Eventually It started working but I'm not 100 % sure what I did. I just redownloaded everything blocks hardware etc. Hate when that happens as i fail to learn anything as to why it wasn't working

Hi, Am I correct that you want to make a ethernet connection between the CPU (with CP343-1) and the MP277? Easiest way is to integrate the WinCC flexible project into your STEP7 project. Of course you should make the controller hardware configuration first and attach the CP343-1 to an ethernet. After that insert a WinCC flexible (WCF)projectas a new object in the STEP7 project. Thenconfigure the WCF project in the hardware configurator so that it is also connected to the same ethernet. The ethernet adresses should be in the same range. You can open NETPRO to see for the results. When opening the WCF project go toConnections and check the settings also. The result should looklike the attachment connections.jpg. Then create some symbols in the symbolics list of the controller. To insert these symbols in WCF add a new object in thetags list, make sure the in the column "Connection" is the right connection. The choose in "Symbol" the right symbol in the controllers symbolics list by using the pop-up window and its navigation, after clicking on the pull down menu icon. Good luck.
