Dear all

I am trying to find a way to rotate an object from the HMI symbol library in desing mode. The rotation angle is not one of the predifined (0,90,180,270) but specific angle like 65 or 120 degrees.

Is there any way that this can be done in design mode?

Also i try to change the value of the rotation property during online but again the angles that the object was rotating was the predifined ones

Any help will be welcomed

the only one object you can define a rotation is a LINE.

All other objects cannot be rotated, there is no property regarding a rotation angle within the object. So, if you want to rotate, please use PAINT, create a jpeg-image of your object and copy this object based on several rotation angles you can define in PAINT. Save all pictures.

Then create a grafic object in WinCC and link several pictures (you created in paint) to an internal variable. Hide/show this object, so you can rotate this graphic object in any angle with small efforts!!

If this is the case then i am a little disappointed by a highly priced piece of software.

I have allready began with drawing the objects in the angles i want it but it takes too much time.

I think siemens should make this option available.

 My thought exactly.

I had resorted to using MS Paint but the result looks cheap and very unprofessional.

I wasted several hours so far on what would be a simple job on any other platform.

Such an easy tool to use and I am sure that everyone tries but nobody almost succeeds and end up being disappointed and migrate to other systems

Hi. actually you can rotate, stretch or whatever you want from HMI symbol Library object

just select object-control properties . and then you can rotate or stretch or flip.
