Hi Ryuxant, I too owe you my thanks for putting me on to this. I had a significant struggle to make it work, and for any others interested I got these links from Siemens Tech support about the formal documentation for these methods.
I had some code that just refused to work, and I could not get the RTILtraceViewer to show me the messages my script was generating. Technical support suggested I start with a code snippet and edit in stages to be what I needed. That strategy essentially worked, but I am damned if I can see the difference between the code that wouldn’t work, and the final version of the code that does work. In any case, I am there. I can now display active User Type along with active User Name as used to be so easy to achieve on the old panels. I’m only not sure I understand why it has to be so much more difficult on Unified panels. |
