Modbus TCP via Vilter2020

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (324)	Hello Hearbroken, I wonder that the S7 should be server, as the Vilter are in master mode as you wrote in one of your previous posts. Are you sure about that? As I can see from your screen shots you use the example for Modbus client in the S7. First of all you should find out which device is client and which one server. Just to keep in mind, as some guys mix it up: client and master are the same, and server and slave. Regards, Kaulquappe

Did you restart your CPU after the parameterization with the wizard? You must restart the CPU so that the initialization parameter are checked and used. Wüstenräuber
