Hi,

We have in our Yogo factory 2 wires transmitter(pressure transmitter) connected to analog input module 4-20 mA only.

We need to modify and use this signal to go to 2 devices( existing analog input module and inverter)

How can perform this modification?

Can we do it by adding  a network in the  PLC program and how?

1-if we have Analog output module:4-20 mA

2-if the available analog output module: 0-10V

 with my point of view you have several option:

1. if you have spare AO and you know how to do it you PLC

2. firstly connect AI to VFD and from VFD AO connect to PLC

3. as guys recommended use amplifier.

I have never used one Analog signal for two different devices, so as me learnt NOT allowed, You will get damaged signal

Can I use L PIWxx  " I/P analog module for 2 wire transmitter 4-20mA"

                 T  PQWyy  "O/P analog module 4-20mA or 0-10V"

in case of:

1-if we have Analog output module:4-20 mA

2-if the available analog output module: 0-10V and covert it through resistance 500 ohm

Is this correct?

 yes U can directly transfer, but important is to put that line in correct position in PLC software.

 "O/P analog module 4-20mA or 0-10V"  active module

No problem with these collections when use L and T?

 This is not suitable for our application because 2 wire transmitter is a passive source.

And what is the problem?

Connect the + of the power supply of to the + connection of your passive sensor.

The - connection of the passive sensor connect to + input of the isolation amplifier. The - input of the isolation amplifier connect to - (or M) of the power supply.
