Good day, everyone.

The problem I wanted to discuss is about discrete output module by number 322-1BL00-0AA0 (D0 32xDC 24 V/0.5A). So, for example let's say, when the output by address Q 0.0 is deactivated in PLC, the channel is powered up. And when the adress is activated there is no power on output. So it's constructed vice versa than usual DO with noramlly open contacts. My question is can I change this station somehow? I am well aware that I may put counter version in programm by activating all chanels first and turn the neccessary ones off. However, i was wondering if there is a way to make them normally open as usual.

Well, everything is alright with PLC - programm, for sure. I may even start a new project, or delete whole programm and insert only one network, like, if I0.0 active turn on Q0.0, the result is same. 

It's actually not a programming problem at all. The DO module is designed to give ouput while deactivated. I am wondering if there is a way to change that.

About wiring, right now I am unable to take a picture, but promise to send as soon as possible.

 I guess you've got me wrong. I didn't get an idea from nowhere; I've connected module, executed my programm and checked the output with multimeter but there wasn't a voltage. So I've deleted whole program and write down a simple one, if I0,0 is on Q0.0 is on, but still no voltage in multimeter. And just measured the voltage of deactivated channel and it was powered, every one of them had voltage except Q0.0 activated by me. So there is no doubt it's NC I guess

first check if there is a power-supply of the output-byte on pins 1/10 or 11/20 or 21/30 or 31/40:

Also check your program. Where did you set the output?

Are all the neccessary blocks are loaded? If you have just programmed a FC or FB it needs to be called in OB1.

All 4 isolated points have power-supply once wired. I am using just first 8 channels.

There is a thing I remembered lately: could the front connecter be a problem? The fron collector of current DO32 isn't it's own. That was replaced from not working DI16/DO16 module. Maybe it needs own front connector?

"In order to avoid errors when replacing modules, the front connector is coded mechanically when first plugged in. Then, it only fits in to the modules of the same type. This avoids, for example, an AC 230 V input signal accidentally being plugged into the DC 24 V module."

So when I have replaced module from DI16/DO16 to DO 32, I must have make reset on connector? Does anyone knows how to do that or where this key is located?

hi,

The front connector is coded mechanically.

Is it possible to plug the connector in? If yes, the coding is not your problem.

Does the output-LED on the output get lit when you set an output?

The connector is perfectly suiting for place and yeah, the LED is lighting. That's the case, when it's set and lighting there is no power, but if not set and not lighting power exists. 

Could it be the module configured for ESD or some kind of safety system?

 This module is not NC, for sure. It's a transistor output module, not a relay module.

There must be something wrong with the wiring of the module.

About wiring, severasl experienced people have checked and rewired the result is same. Anyway thanks for reply. I've just activated all the output's and deactivate the ones i need to get power.

 At the center of the module is a coding element. The first time you install the front connector to the module, the second half of the coding element is attached to the front connector. So when you take out the front connector, and look on the backside, in the middle you will see a plastic octacon shaped piece that is about 6mm in diameter. That is the coding element.
