I have a question and would like comments I have an IOT2050 with an FS:07 and the SD with a Version 1.3.1 and another IOT2050 with FS:09 but when I change the SD from FS:07 to FS:09 it does not work because it can happen that in FS:09 when I put V.1.3.1 the Stat does not turn on

udae Joined: 3/12/2024 Last visit: 1/9/2026 Posts: 230 Rating: (7)	Hi, please connect to your IOT2050 via DisplayPort cable and keyboard or start a serial remote access using UART cable (follow these instructions from the beginning). In the first moment it sounds like your image is corrupted. Can you please provide me the output of the device until it goes into fail state. Please also check your boot order and adjust it if necessary (see part 3.3.3 of the instructions). What tool have you used to set up your Micro-SD Card with the image? BR

edurov Regular Member Joined: 12/15/2016 Last visit: 6/25/2025 Posts: 77 Rating: (0)	if it is an Advanced, the Industrial OS is pre-installed in the internal memory of the IOT. sure that you are booting from the internal memory or from the SD, you can use the command: fw_printenv boot_targets the answer: mmc0 is the SD and mmc1 is the internal memory as you can see if you take out the SD it chooses to boot from the internal memory. If you do not have the OS installed in the internal memory you can follow this guide: https://support.industry.siemens.com/forum/es/en/posts/how-to-setup-industrial-os-on-iot2050-advanced/266090/?page=0&pageSize=10
