I was wondering if anyone has a good solution for connecting the control system to a cloud server? I'have tried it in the past with an open internet connection, but then i got into problems with having a different ip adress in the subnet compared to the internet server (cloud server). But even if this would have worked, it would have been a terrible solution because of having an open internet conneciton in the control cabinet. Which is actually where my question is about and if anyone has any experience on this part.

How can you ensure a cloud connection to a server of own choice (no siemens server), but that it is seperated from the control network. What im looking for is a safe system like a pn/pn coupler, this device makes sure you can communicate with different control system but not be on the same network. Does anyone has a solution for this, where a device creates a seperation between control system and cloud system? I asked these question to our siemens contact person, but so far i didn't get a good solution for this.
