AutoGen_7406247 Joined: 8/17/2023 Last visit: 4/20/2025 Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Hi, i have a big problem on Siemens 808d advanced,when i use cycle 72 contour milling the program make the contour but when arrive to change tools, it keep blocked on change tools..i need to reset.. Look picture attached....i wrong somethink of sure.. I try different way.... Nothing work.... The problem is also if tools blocked, then i need then to erase the first string"G17G54G95" otherwise don't change more in that program, only on mdi... Could you please attach in a .zip a .arc backup of the machine, and also a .pte Also a description of the machine? This would help alot in regards to troubleshooting. Best Regards Riddersholm

AutoGen_7406247 Joined: 8/17/2023 Last visit: 4/20/2025 Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	this is my machine..is a new machine however...cycle 72 instead to close cycle, at the end, repeat the operation of contour on Z exit area, and when arrive to change tool, show message to change tool, but don't make it...and until i don't erase G17G54G95 of the first line of program, the change tools is always blocked for that program, but work however on mdi mode..if i change on mdi mode then the tools change normally Attachment IMG_20230724_133822.jpg (82 Downloads)

I put it because In same example on internet for G72 use mm/rev but on my machine don't accept it... So now work well

But I ran the exact same code on 808DonPC and it worked fine with feed pr rev? So I would say it is a software bug that might have gotten fixed. Best Regards Riddersholm

However i try same code on pc software 808d v. 4.6, yes, work,run the program, but make a confusion with tool change the same... While on the real machine the tools stop to avoid problems.. also on the software if you use g72 with mm/m run all perfect... I can use g95 after i close g72 cycle, while on thread cycle for example my machine take in automatic mm/rev by itself.. Also with drill cycle g83 there is no problem with mm/rev... The problem is only on g72 contour. Best regards William
