Encoder electronics (HTL Vs. TTL)

rataplan Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi forum users, Siemens encoders 1XP8 012-xx. As far as I know the Sinamics G120 accepts both HTL and TTL encoders. Is this correct? Which are the pro's and con's of these two types of electronics? Which one is better in terms of: - max length allowed for the encoder cable. - less prone to noise. Thks in advance Rataplan

Thks in advance Rataplan Hello, Yes, G120 (CU240S, CU240SDP, CU240SDP‑F, CU240SPN or CU240SPN‑F) "accept" both HTL and TTL encoder.
