sus Experienced Member Joined: 6/12/2009 Last visit: 9/10/2025 Posts: 75 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have two analog inputs in MM420 out of which one is 4-20ma coming from other source and other one is attached multiturn port(5K). Now we also have one selector switch by which we want to control the choice of our input to drive.that is if we put the switch in one position the input will be 4-20ma from field and in another position it will be from port. Can we do this and if yes than how?

JensS Posts: 739 Rating: (55)	Hi sus, In M420 is only one analogue input (AIN) available, one analogue output (AUOT) and 3 digital inputs. Block diagram attached. The AIN is only as 0-10V available.It is possible to use AIN + FF (fixed frequencies) together, see P1000. Attachment Block_diagram_MM420.pdf (285 Downloads)
