I should exchange data with an old 400 ( CPU 416 ) and an S71500. 

I suppose, the only way possible, it is arrange the S71500 as master,

or

can I find a GSD file of S71500 CPU to add in the HW catalogue of Simatic Manager ?

Hi,

there is no GSD for S7-1500 as Master available. But there are GSD for S7-400 as Slave available…

I'd installed the CP 1542 gsd files. So, The CPU 416 will be the comunication master. 

I drop ( in my simatic manager ) the CP1542 and install 2 modules  ( 16 byte in + 16 byte out )

than in Tia portal I did this:
