I have worked on a SAP WInCC V7 communication in a past project with idoc and a filebased telegram communication for production data. But this runs only a few times a day and not in Real time.

If you need a real time communication of Data I would say OPC UA would be a good way because it is standadized and cn be used for processdata and alarms in WinCC
