I am attempting to install WinCC RT Pro V13 on a IPC427D and I cannot seem to get it right...

So, I have plugged the USB which is provided with WinCC RT Pro into the IPC and ran the installer. I am able to open my WinCC projects but there do not seem to be a communications link between the HMI and the PLC. All of my IO fields are grey with a yellow caution triangle in the middle. When I look in "Add and Remove" programs on the IPC I can see that WinCC RT Pro is installed but Simatic Net is not. There was a license for Simatic Net on the USB noted earlier, so I believe that the issue is I have not installed Simatic Net correctly.

Could anyone explain how I might properly install Simatic Net or is there another solution to my problem?

Also if there is any referance material that you think might help me a link would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Problem solved.

The issue was Simatic Net was not installed.

Solution: I aquired a .ISO of the installer and ran it on the IPC, set up PG/PC interface and that was it!
