In our system we have S7 1500 plc's and S7 300 plc's.
A pc program will send variable values to the plc's by OPC.
In the 1500 plc's integers with 64 bit length will be sent.
We would like to keep the same format for the S7 300 plc's.
Of course only 32 bit int variables are possible here.
But we don't have to do calculations in the S7 300 on 64 bit ints.
We only need to transfer the value with blockmoves and visualize the value on an HMI.
So the pc program could send the value to two consequetive 32 bit dint variables.
But up to now I do not see how I could visualize the correct value of the two separate 32bit dints in on output field. Or what could I do?

Asking your question in the Step7 /Step7 Lite section might bare more fruit.... regardless if you are designing in Step7 (TIA).
