HW is depended to your CPU available communication ports. Has your PLC also serial port with same specification like Zebra? In case of sample, probably not existing because of some complexity of settings. Other case is type of BC code because many other types exists so your question is also not correct. You need to know what type of BC code you want implement...

PLC to printer communication possible with ATC-106

looks like serial and paralel ports are available on Zebra. You need check what exactly serial port is there (I expect RS-232), look to documentation of your exact type of Zebra printer. If your port is RS-232 on Zebra (your PLC has RS-485 serial port), you need RS-485 to RS-232 converter. Maybe this is that your 3-rd picture? Again in case of example, you need check manuals of Zebra where is described send message chars/bytes sequence due required BC code and other values depended. I recommend start test this on PC with some free serial application (Hyperterminal or Hercules) and familiar with this, then you should better change parameters and program this to PLC. Of course you need for this also some USB to required serial port type Adapter.

 That could be a 25 pin serial port. Even the DB9 could be an RS485 port. As you said - best to follow the manual of the printer.

 Your guess on which ports it was seems to be correct. For that case the option is to have the SB CM01 RS485RS232 (6ES7 288-5CM01-0AA0) to make the ST60 able to communicate on RS232.
