Communication with S5 ET 200

boni_m Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi, We have a plant that has S5 CPU + ET 200. We have bought an S7 CPU 315-2DP to replace the S5. We want to use the S7 CPU and S5 ET 200. We are having problems configuration S7 CPU and S5 ET 200 for profibus communication. Please help. Regards, Boniface.

Not all interfaces support DP Standard profibus See FAQ: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/13298826 I would suggest to set the interfaceto use DP standard protocol. See FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/217419 If this is not your problem, please describe the nature of your problem in details.
