Hello chibby; I can't help you much about Wonderware and S7-200, except what is in general discussion sites: -DASSIDirect on PPI: http://www.wonderware.com/support/mmi/comprehensive/kbcd/html/t002006.htm -OPC ove r PPI: http://www.wonderware.com/solution_providers/isv/PartnerProductSpec.asp?ProductID=7119 About setting up 2 connectionson a S7-200 CPU, our own experience is that using Profibus cable and connectors that provide a piggyback interface, such as the one shown left in the accompanyingattachment (fromSiemens, other manufacturers haveequivalent certified products), will effectively allow you to connect 2 seperate partners (in this case, Woderware and MicroWin). Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Hello, Daniel already show you possible ways to establish communication with Intouch and S7-200. (by the way also valid for S7-300). So, you don't want to use ethernet (using DASISIDIRECT Server - easier and cheaper solution). Another way - OPC Server. S7-200 and PC Access
Then in PC you must connect PC Access Server with OPC LInk (Wonderware' product - use search here in forum...). Of course is possible to use also other OPC Server (Kepware, Matricon...). S7-300 and Intouch - SimaticNet and MPI - Depends what kind of CP you have in PC - look at Where can you find sample S7 programs and documentation for OPC (OLE for Process Control) in the SIMATIC NET Quick Start Collection?
