Dear Experts,

                      i need some clarification about CU250S_2DP controller(Sinamics G120) with 1FT6 motor.

1. Configuration is Speed control Application = CU250S-2DP(V4.7) + PM240-2 + SMC20 + 1FT6 Motor with Absolute Encoder.

2. First time i am doing configuration with factory reset, Encoder is configured with drivecliq communication with SMC20 automatically.

3. Then I try to configure motor data i select in Wizard--> select motor from list--> Synchronous motor--> then i will select  motor with code number(P301) 

4. After this configuration all my motor data including encoder data is automatically set OK.

5. My problem is after changing my motor details from induction motor to Synchronous motor with motor code number, control modeautomatically changed from P1300=21(SVC) to P1300= 20(SLVC). Then i can not able to change with Speed control with encoder(P1300=21), it's always showing error while i try to change P1300 from 20(SLVC) to 21(SVC).

6. My question is Cu250S can possible synchronous servo motor with encoder option. I am confused what will be the problem. 

7. I tried many ways to change the control mode in,, BOP and Via Scout software and offline configuration & download... etc. But not possible to change my control mode

       Give me solution for my problem ASAP. For refference i attached project backup. Thanks in advance

Can You Check Value Of P400? It Must Have Value Of Encoder Type...

    P400=[2051] 2048, 1 Vpp, A/B, EnDat, Multiturn 4096

 This is selected automatically after i entered motor code no. And if i run the motor with SLVC, Its running fine and i can get my encoder values properly in r61 parameter. Only problem is i can not able to change control mode P1300=21.

You may want to submit a support request or contact your local Siemens partner.  I do not believe that you can run a synchronous motor in speed control on a G120, which is why it is switching you to SLVC  Vector control works by deriving separate flux producing and torque producing currents and controlling those.  Synchronous motors have no flux producing current and control speed by controlling rotor position. 

I could be wrong.

Actually i tried in that way also, I selected basic positioner, but it will support only standard induction motors with encoder(In SVC mode), but not synchronous motor or 1FK7 & 1FG1 motors with encoder(In SVC mode). But if i select 1PH8 or 1PH7 motors, it will support Speed control with encoder(P1300=21). I am very confusing, what configuration i need to do with G120 with Servo motors.

My basic doubt is 1FK7 or 1FG1 or 1FT6 or any servo motors not supported with encoders, then what is use of basic positioner. Even in the configuration wizard, If i see the standard motors list, it is showing 1FK7 synchronous motor without encoder. Please send me any manual or FAQ related to synchronous motor with sinamics G120.
