Dark Screen on Simatic PC Station

IngJavier Member Joined: 7/31/2019 Last visit: 6/22/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I've been working in two sites with different projects (Simatic PC station/ WinCC RT Professional), after 8 months the commissioning has been done and several screens have been modified, inserting new charts, animations, objects and also the screen was duplicated in both sites because the operators needed to see two screens at the same time. This month the screen was in black and very slow, when the operators tried to changed between screens, all of them had black background. I share with you how the screen looks, this effect is with all the pages. If you have a suggestion or if you have had a similar issue and you can help me how to solve it, that should be great. I would recommend that you check the compatibility between the installed version of RT Prof and the PC OS (compatibility tool), as well as delete the IM folder of the project, compile and download the RT again.

Even same SP and Update should be used on Engineering system and Runtime system. Regards, Frink

To check you can have a look at the WinCC professional Diagnose folder. you can also try to share with us then we can have a look at it. You can also open a Service Request at Siemens Support.
