I tried to install the Version Control Interface addin in TIA portal v18 with the help of this video. I copied the addin to the rightfolder, but I can't activate it. It always stays red.

and I get the following error

'Siemens.VCIGitConnector.addin' is invalid for this TIA installation. Ask the author to determine which TIA installations support this Add-In.,7/6/2023,9:28:39 AM

The download page mentions

since it mentions "as of", I assumed it would work with v18 and because there are no seperate downloads for v17 and v18.

Furthermore when I want to add the compare tool this is not possible. In the video there is an extra menu item under Version Control Interface called "Compare", but not for me.

Did anyone get version control working in TIA 18?
