Hi,

Where can I find an example project with S7-400FH. ?I have S7-412-5H station running with a ET200 with redundancy bundle. I want to add a second  ET200M station with Failsafe IO modules  . I have the F- RT License and F-Library, CFC and Step 5.5 SP4 . But before I begin with, if I have an example project s7-400FH  , that would help me to  minimize errors and pitfalls. Thanks .

I think this Apllication Example should help you develop your configuration:

Realization of a Fault-Tolerant Tunnel Lighting System With S7-400H

The solution realized in this application example offers the following advantages:

• The use of two control rooms enables the local distribution of redundant systems. If a fire breaks out in one control room, the redundant system will take over and vital functions such as ventilation, lighting and traffic signaling will remain operative.

• The redundancy-specific functions and configurations require no further assignment of parameters, as this is effected by the optional package “S7-H-Systems” (integrated in STEP 7 Version 5.3 or higher). The project engineer can fully concentrate on the control of the process.

• All components can be exchanged while the system remains running (hot swapping). Likewise, any changes to the configuration can also be performed during operation.

• The tunnel lighting control system can be realized with the configurable function block FB100 (without know-how protection).

Thank you. What I need is example project configuration for a s7-400FH failsafe hardware. Basic configuration of FH system , with failsafe modules , with essential OBs required , etc.

There seems to be no Application Examples for F/FH systems, as there was for S7-400H systems.in my previous post.

However, there could be something you could look into.

When you purchase an add-on software for Step 7, Siemens often bundles it with example programs that are loaded to Step 7 libraries upon installation.

...New example projects

Whatever version of F/FH systems you have installed and licensed on your programming PC, it must have loaded these example programs into Step 7, So, you might find it worth it to look into Simatic Manager and Open... libraries (tab), and search for F/FH example projects. If you can locate them you should have most of what you need.
