s_aur_ss Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello all, we have a drive model 6ES7021-0EP60...and suddenly started tripping on F011 fault.NOt able to reset rated current of the motor in 6.4 am and Motor is taking normally 3.4A at full load.Now what is this f011 (says overcurrent)....dont understand how???Is there any remedy or possibilities which can correct this fault OR replacement which i have already done is the only solution.Kindly help. Thanks Jonathan

Regards, Jonathan Hi Jonathan, in order to change the rated motor current, you need to ensure that the drive is disabled (i.e. hit an e-stop or remove a safety OFF input). Then you need to change Parameter P060 to a 5 (Drive settings, and don't forget to change P060 back to whatever it was after you have finished changing motor parameters). In this mode, you have full access to the motor parameters P101 - P109. Rated motor current is P102. After you have changed any key motor parameter, it is usually a good idea to run the automatic motor identification, this is done by P115 = 2. The easiest way to do this is to take control of the drive via the USS or Profibus connection (Laptop running Drivemonitor), this way, you can ensure you start the drive within 20 seconds of changing P115 (Otherwise, it generates an error) What Hristo means is to check that there are no short circuits at the output of the drive, where the motor cables are connected. What I usually do is (with the power off) disconnect the motor cables and insulation check the motor and cables. (Do not perform an insulation resistance check when the cables are connected to the drive or you risk damaging the output transistors) I then use an standard ohmmeter to check that there are no shorts between drive output phases or between output phases and earth. When F011 is triggered, r785 stores the value of the current at which the trip occurred, so check this value next time it trips. Also, when the drive is at standstill, check r832.1 and r832.2, these are the real feedback values from the current measurement system which is usually in the form of CT's - clearly, they should be practically zero when the drive is off.
