Hello everybody !

I need to copy not all but the certain cells of DB1 to certain cells of DB2 in “non TIA-portal” version.

The cells in DB1 to be copied «from» are located at the fixed distance “1” one from another.

As well the cells in DB2 to be written «to» are located at the fixed distance “2” one from another.

The distance “1” and distance “2” are not equal.

Have anyone code in STL (STEP7 v.5.5  i.e.)  to realize the task ?

I think the LAR1, LAR2 and  “loop” instructions must be used.

I have found something.

Here is a code of a function where the words are copied from DB_send  to  DB_rec .

But I need to copy the bits.

When I  in

If I copy the entire word I will destroy my data existing in DB_rec .

 How to copy a number of bits ?

When you wrote about something in red it would be good to attach a screen-shot showing the issue.

I suspect wrong syntax around boolean vars, try following: 

A DBX[AR1, p#0.0]

= DIX[AR2, p#0.0]
