Navnag Platinum Member Joined: 11/21/2007 Last visit: 7/25/2025 Posts: 2326 Rating: (309)	Dear Friends We have a DC Motor with following Ratings : Rating : 65 kW , 415/1800 RPM Armature : 400 V DC , 188 AMP Field : 220V , 20/2.6 Amp Also we have available 6RA70 drive 6RA7078-6DV62 with 280A DC O/P and 15A Field Module How can I upgrade the field to 25 Amps as the Motor Max Field Current is 20 Amps without changing the complete drive ? mumbles Posts: 160 Rating: (16)	Hi Navnag, I would look at the possibility of using a Minireg F33. You can find the manual here http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22991764 The only other option would be do use another converter to supply the Field through its armature circuit.
