How to use NCU720.3 X150 connection

I have to connect a SENTRON PACK 3200 device to my NCU720.3 and I figure to connect it at X150 plug. 1st question : standard or crossed ethernet cable ? In Step7 Hw configuration, I set the X150 PN-IO to 192.168.214.80 / 255.255.255.0 and in device 192.168.214.81/ 255.255.255.0 (gateway 0.0.0.0). The problem is that it seems that I have no connection Any help ? Which manual explain how to use X150 ? Thank you .

pierre_g Posts: 67 Rating: (5)	Hello, If you connect a PG with IP address in same range can you ping Sentron pack ? Can you ping with the dns name you assign in Step7 ? With Step7 you can check IP address and name, you need mac address from Sentron pack. Pierre

pierre_g Posts: 67 Rating: (5)	hello, In Step7 menu PLC --> Edit Ethernet node you can browse network and find nodes identify by mac address. You can assign name to node ex: PAC3200. I use it to check node name, if I do a mistake in HW Config with name I correct it. I download GSDML for Sentron and connect it to Profinet in HW Config. Pierre
