I can't upload from CPU 312 to PC through CP 343-1 Lean

Its showing "Hardware configuration was created and downloaded with an incompatible version of STEP7. couldnt upload HW configuration". I don't know which version of TIA they were downloaded. I just tried with V17 and V13 SP2. still showing this. For checking the version used for the CPU though online diag also not possible because its showing version of CP343. because I connected through that module.

itafusna Silver Member Joined: 2/17/2020 Last visit: 8/29/2025 Posts: 1251 Rating: (237)	Hi, Are you sure this S7-300 was programmed with TIA Portal? or could it have been programmed with classic STEP 7 V5.X? Sadly, if you do not know the software version the PLC was originally programmed with, you will have to try different versions until the upload is possible.

Then while try to upload there was a Dialogue box showing "The HW Config was created with a newer version of STEP 7 on the basis of the TIA Portal. The loading to PG will be cancelled" Thats why Istarted to try with TIA
