Hello,

we have cnc wood processing center with Sinumerik 810D cnc.

So i make cnc program in ArtCAM 2010 software and found that machine moves with jerks then processing this. Machine moves in XZ plane. It mill wavy shape with ball nose.

So then i start program with lines like this

N10 G03 X Y Z I J K Turn=0

machine moves smooth in 3 axis.

Can anybody explain this? Maybe feed incorrect or look ahead function not working?

As i understand jerks = machine brake on the end of each line.

Where i can see information - is my machine support this HSM cycle?

We have MMC102 on the PC that connected to Sinumerik 810D.

I check it - MD 20150 (9) = 1

i found that G642 SOFT and FFWON works too but COMPCAD COMPCURV not

system raise an error about what this funktion not programmed or not available

is any solution for my problem?

With SOFT FFWON G642 jerks still present but smaller

Is any spline interpolation or compressing funktion present in 810D?

Machine produced in 2001 year. Or can it be updated with compressor function?

G64 2. Continuous path mode m

G641 3. Continuous path mode with programmable rounding distance

I ask about that - expert says if i write G642 or G64 right in program text i dont need to configure MD 20150

but G64x dont solve problem - i need COMPCURV or COMPCAD compressing function that smooth huge G1 block steps.

Why not COMPCURV?

And where i can find COMPCAD in MDA?
