No information could be obtained about the option board software

Drive has CBP2 and T400 card. 2. When we put the new CUVC card and go into on line, drive monitor displays "No information could be obtained about the option board software" before downloading the parameter data. 3. If I ignore the message and go to download, some parameters are rejected. And finally the drive does not operate as was with the previous card. 4. If we put CUVC card of the same lot as the previous one belongs to, there is no problem in identification of the optional boards and can be downloaded all the parameters successfully. Your comments definitely help me a lot. best regards, Shyamal

Using only the OLD CUVC card (i.e. remove the T400 for now), upload and save the parameters. Then, put in the new CUVC card and perform a factory default (P60=2, P970=0) Then, perform the Power def (P60=8, P70=?? Choose your drive) - The drive will then reset all parameters to the new defaults. Then, download the saved parameters from before into the new CUVC card. Only then, power off, install the T400 card and see if everything initialises ok. Regards, Graeme
