Uthay Posts: 47 Rating: (0)	Hello Experts, I need 2 clarification on 840D CNC Part programs. 1. What is the difference for below both lines? N230 M10 N230 WHEN TRUE DO M10 2. I compared 2 programs found one machine running less cycle time and another one is running high cycle time but both program difference noticed below.Why the sub programs taking high cycle time ? Sample programs:High cycle time machine running with sub programs N250 RE41011: R82=1 N260 X-104.1 Y-336 ; #619 N270 L189; N280 RE41012: R82=2 N290 X-104.1 Y-252 ; #618 N300 L189; ,,,, Totally L189 program used 10 times Less cycle time machine running with normal program N230 RE41011: R82=1 N240 G1 G601 Z16.25 F50000 N250 Z10.25 F1080 ; #619 N260 Z-8.5 F2376 N270 G602 Z16.25 F8640 N280 Z86 F50000; N290 STOPRE N300 RE41012: R82=2 N310 G1 G601 X-104.1 Y-252 F50000 N320 Z16.25 N330 Z10.25 F1080 ; #618 N340 Z-8.5 F2376 N350 G602 Z16.25 F8640 N360 Z86 F50000

May be there are calculations involved in the program & dwell time is used several times, and as per you you havecalled L189 "10 times" sothe things will multiply and you can observe more difference. 2. In the example program you have mentionneddifferent feeds & with L189 feeds you can check. 3. N230 M10 N230 WHEN TRUE DO M10 The above are synchronous commandsbut you did not mention all details so we cannot tell exactly when that is working.
