PLCSIM for STEP 7 Lite

Alvar Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Dear All, Can somebody tell me if it's possible to use PLCSIM in STEP 7 Lite. I read plenty things about it but nothing is helping me. I'm a starter in programming and I would like to see step by step what I'm doing. If there are other options please tell me. I'm using free software as of start before buying complete package. It is possible to simulate by PLCSIM but it is not included in the Lite package as it is included in STEP 7 Professional.If you are a learner but not a serious user, make yourself familiar with the programming/configuration environment in Lite version and perform your tests in a SIMATIC training center(with actual software/hardware platforms). Alvar Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Thanks for the advice My problem is that on board where I work we use Simatic S7. To get more acquainted with the system I would like to do some self studies. Doing experiments on our ship installation is not a good idea. If I can simulate small parts offline that would be very nice. Some say that it works with STEP 7 Lite and others not. I will not spend plenty money on a licence just for selfstudie. Regards Rudy
