Problem in assignment HMI TP1900 comfort with S7-1515TF

GianpaoloE95 Member Joined: 12/28/2021 Last visit: 8/29/2023 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I am starting to use Siemens and Tia Portal and I have a problem with the HMI: I connected the S7-1515TF-2 PN PLC to the TP1900 comfort HMI via Profinet. I used Profinet 2 interface (single port) for the PLC and Profinet 3 interface (single port) for the HMI. When I assign the IO controllers to the HMI, another connection is generated in the TIA portal screen via Profinet ports that are not physically connected. This does not allow me to control the technology axes, which I have created, from the panel. Can anyone give me some advice? Thank you very much

This is probably not necessary. However, you can do it. In this case, when you click on the "Not assigned" link on the TP1900, two possible IO Controllers should be displayed. You need to select the IO Controller responsible for PROFINET on X2. If this information does not solve your problem, please provide more information, e.g. screenshots. Kind regards Stefan

In the most cases you do not need this. for a common HMI conection go like this: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/89852595 Bye Murof
