Problem in back-transferring project from MP277 8" Touch to PC using WINCC Flexible?

ABSL Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, Could somebodypleasehelp me with the following problem: I tried to connect to an existing project in MP-277 8" Touch and uploading the program in my PC using directEthernet connection (crossover cable)and WINCC flexible 2008. I set network IP in both equipment and I could ping to MP277, but when I tried to upload the project (back-transferring) an error message"could not find the plz file" shown and transfer failed. I tried it several time and checked every thing but that message apeared again, finally the transferring stopped in "establishing connection to device" and noyhing happend for while!! How do you back transfer the projects of an operator panel and what should you watch out for? If it fails again you can try to make a backup, only problem then is you cannot edit the project, just transfer it to same type of panel. How do you backup/restore with a Windows-based panel? ABSL Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Thanx, I checked the MP277 and there is not any SD/MM card in the panel. Can it be the reason of fault? The project is a old project designed by others and there is no access to designer, I just want to change some parameters in the program. Is there any solution for uploading the project when backtransfer was not activated in dowhending time? Regards,

I tried other way and connected USB memory stick to HMI panel and made copyof project files fromthe HMIpanel to USB memory, then I am trying to open that project files inWinCC Flexible. In that project path there are several "*.dll" file format, one "WinCC flexible RT Module: HMIRTM" file and one "WinCC flexible RT document: PDATA" file. When I try to open these file the following message appears: "It is not a valid Win32 application." Is there any solution to resolve this issue and restore the project in this way? Tweety So if backtransfer does not work because there is no file to backtransfer(box not checked when program was downloaded), only options are: 1 Ask programmer for Wincc-flex project. 2 Build new project. With Prosave you can upload the compiled version of the project. You cannot edit it with any HMI software, you can only download it to a panel with the same part number as the original.
