Hello Philip; The following link shows various ooptions for connecting a DP-master and a DP-slave (with Siemens CPUs): What master/slave communication options are available on PROFIBUS DP? Look at the sampel between a S7-300/400 DP master with a S7-315-2DP slave, when the 2 CPUs are setup in the same project (option 1) ). Thois would be the closest to your application, in my opinion.
