Dear Expert..... I am doing converion of S5 PLC program to S7 PLC Program, After seleting S5 PLC file in the S5-S7 conversion software, i am not getting file path in S5 assignment list and converted assignment list in the converiosn screen, Error screen attached. i have Z0.SEQ and Z0.INI files with me. Whlie selecting Z0.INI file in assingment list convert ( Management tab), i am getting messgae as "Old DVS file < created with DVS I" Please help me to create symbol tale in s7 PLC . Hello Muthulee, Your assignment list is created with an older version of S5. DVS stands for DatenVerwaltungsSystem. I found a (German) manual that describes how you can convert old format to the new format. Check out chapter 7.4.10 to find procedure I don't have the required olderversion to do the conversion.
