Hello, I am forced to program  an KP 300 Basci firmware version V12.0.1 and i have a plc CPU 1214 DC/DC/DC Firmaware version 4.5( I have upgrade this version).

I am using TIA portal V 17Update 2. 

i have no error when i create project, no error for  transfer KP 300, but i have no communication from KP 300<=> PLC 1200.

I need to downgrade firmware version  to 4.3  or 4.2?   or i need to use PUT/GET for this.

I need to use lower version of  TIA ?

Hello.

The "issue" is with the S7-1200 firmware V4.5. There are added security backed into the firmware. Review your security settings in the hardware configuration -- focus on all the selections and passwords that influences the PLC to HMI communications.

I have recently met this issue where I had a KTP700 Basic V17.0.0.0. The HMI is not at 'fault' in this case.

Indeed the settings from "Protection &Security=>Communication on TIA Portal and HMI " 

Uncheck " Only  allow secure PC/PG and HMI communication" solve the issue with no communication between PLC and HMI( my case KP 300).

For me I was also the security checkbox

"only allow secure PG/PC and HMI communication"

that caused the impossible communication between KTP300 and S7-1200 V4.50

First I simply thought the the new year party was a bit too much and I lost my programming capabilites. Ha ha
