Dear Members, I have one Wireless Input/Output Module and this Module have a RS232 port. I want to can communicate S7200 with Wireless Modem through RS232 port. Then S7200 send the command to the Wireless Input/Output Module for ON/OFF outputs of Wireless Module. Please attached file for more understanding. But my question is that Wireless I/O Module manufacture send me the protocol format but i am confuse how to write code in s7200. Please find also Protocol format of wireless i/o module. Hi
The S7-200 is known for its ability to easily communicate with RS232. Keep in mind, however, that S7-200 port(s) are RS485, so you will need the PPI Multi-Master Cable (6ES7 901-3CB30-0AX0).
Your protocol is an easy one. Take a look in MAS 5 where it is shown how to communicate with a GSM modem using AT commands. What you will do instead, is implement your protocol in the code. Hope this helps |
