Hello,

I am following this example to create a DB in the PLC that contains information about the RUN/STOP , ERROR and MAINT LEDs , so I can provide this information to the IHM or other SCADA / MES systems.

My question is how do you identify the CPU STOP state ? The Funtion Block runs in the OB1 and it will probably not run when the CPU is in STOP mode, so the status is not updated.

Denilson, I just found your post from back in 2008 and hopefully you can answer my question.  I am looking at your LED example and I can find the hardware identifier for the analog input card (260).  But I can not find where you got the 50 for the hardware identifier for the PLC, nor the 65 for the CPU link.  The only thing I found on the PLC was under the ProfiNet interface and that was 64.  If you could point me to where you got those numbers I would appreciate it.

I post here a sample project that shows how to use the instruction LED to get some diagnose data in the user program.

The sample program is located in the Block_1 (FB1) called from Main_1 (OB1) and using the instance data block “aaa” (DB1), where the relevant data are allocates.

In Block_1 I call the block LED several times, to get different types of information.The Watch table shows also the relevant data for the user.

Note: not all functions could be 100% simulated in PLC Sim

 Would you be able to provide this example (attachment) in a newer format of TIA Portal than that of v12? Ideally v13 at minimum, or preferably v15.
