I want to write in SCL a FB that on the input has linked structure from a DB and on the output also a structure from another DB.

The main idea is to search for a 3 chars in a struct (input DB), after finding it I want to copy that chars plus another 10 chars to a struct in a DB which is on the output. 

The problem is that I don't know how to get access (correct syntax) to the structure which is on the input and how to write it to the output structure.

I hope that it is possible to understand what I mean :)

Could you be a little more specific? What is a structure of your structure ?

Can you show us a declaration of it?

You can use the "AT" command for that.

Let's say you have a DB with a total of 4 bytes (=DWord). You can declare an input: "INPUT_DWORD" of type DWORD.

Then you can use the "AT" command to access individual BYTES or BOOL or ANY of the DWORD datatype. So you create different "Views" and don't have to convert datatypes.
