Siemens 317-2 to Wonderware Intouch 9.5 Scaling

GNBLogic Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I'm having issues with scaling temperature reading from the PLC.The Data coming from the PLC is a 10 Digit Real Number. When i scale the raw Number to the Ranged. It does not Scale up and Down correctly. EX: DB112.DBD318 Addressed in Wonderware Reads: 1091431301 @ 193.3 Degrees 1091473244 @ 194.0 Degrees I calculated: RAW RANGE 1079849035.151 @ 0 Degrees 1139767606.58 @ 1000 Degrees Whats wrong with this? When the Temperature goes up and down it apprears to varie. Any help would be appreciated.

swiebe Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	The number that you're seeing is the IEEE floating point representation of the Real number. The correct sintax in Wonderware to use is DB112,Real318.
