What is the machine brand, manufacturer's name? if you don't have any backup data.

you can try to contact the machine manufacturer or go to the Forum of the machine builder's name to ask some one to send to you.

We installed a new 3.6V battery and powered the machine back on, but the screen remained blank, and the NC fault light on the back of the Sinumerik 810M was illuminated. I measured the power connectors going to the CPU, and they all seem to have +24V.

I’m not sure why the monitor is off and the NC fault light is on. When we replaced the battery, we had shut down the system. The issue is that we don’t have any backup files in case they’re needed for recovery. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

 Where did you get the 1st picture with 810 screen on? it is misleading?

you said you have grinder , so 810G I think it was. you need data back up , hardware possible good. see my picture --I marked one key, press it and  keep , then power on system to see screen on?  send picture to here

The machine is a Jung JF 520 CNC-B, manufactured by Jung Profiltechnik in 1988, in West Germany by K. Jung GmbH, D-7320 Göppingen.

We purchased this as a retrofit model, not brand new. We don’t have a backup program but are searching our network drive, hoping it was stored. Alternatively, if we find an identical working monitor/CPU with the same serial number listed below, would it be compatible with our grinder module?

Yes you are right, I want to mark the eyeball button, but a little far away .

If you loading standard NC , PLC MD your next time power up , screen should be on.  So your HW is good you need search for data which match your machine.

The first picture, showing the 810 screen on, was taken before the battery replacement. As you can see, it displays a battery or power supply alarm. We replaced the battery while keeping power to the device off.

It seems likely that the machine data and program stored in the device or RAM have been lost.

I followed your recommendation to press and hold the suggested button, but it had no effect—the screen remained blank. However, when I pressed the eyeball button, the screen turned back on, as shown in the image attached here.

I believe this indicates the device is in initial clear mode, correct? Unfortunately, we don’t have a backup of the program.

The manufacturer sent me the files, but they included files for both the dresser controller and the machine controller in one folder. Is there a way to differentiate which file belongs to which controller?

We only use the machine controller. Our Jung JF 520 CNC-B has two controllers: the top one (which I believe was the dresser controller) and the bottom one, which we now use exclusively as the machine controller.

I opened the files in Notepad, and some of them start with identifiers like%TEA1,%TEA2,%PCP,%PCA, and so on.
