Hi, I would like I can BootCamp my MacBook Ari M2 with a partitions of Windows but I don't know if the software would work natively with M2 puce ? Thanks |

Hi, I think there is no 100% answer to this topic... Mac OS is not supported at least. You can only find information which windows verison is supported, but no further differenciation if it must be x86/ARM based. At least, there is no explicit statement, that ARM based processors are not supported. But the reality is, it is not possible without issues. There is a long post in this forum relating TIA portal software on ARM based processors. Some people got it working. Maybe you can find somewhat useful informations in this topic. But besides that. I thougt apple discontinued bootcamp with their own ARM processors? So you would need to use a Tia Portal on new Apple M1 chipPersonal opinion: Do not use TIA on systems which are not officially stated as supported in the manual. For me it would not be worth the effort. Espeacially If you would need support afterwards, because you wont get it. And as you use this software in an productive environment.... regards sancruz |
