Hello Logo community,

I came back to you with the following problem:

When I try to connect to a logo 8.3 I can detect the ip address but when I try to switch it to stop mode or upload a program, it gives me the following error: “Logo 8.3 CA is not trusted. The remote device is not accessible.”

I have installed the root certificates from the “res” file that I found under the path where logo software is installed but still is not working and I encounter the same error.

Some more details that may be relevant:

- I run Logo soft comfort version 8.4 installed on a USB 3.0 flash drive (because my laptop is old and I read on forum that in case I won`t be able to access the computer I will loose my license). The “res” file mentioned above is installed/present on usb drive.

- Actually I have  5 pcs of 8.2 FS4 controllers that I could connect to them and modify as intended an only one 8.3 controller on which I can`t connect.

I don`t have installed logo soft version 8.3 because only last week I have bought the license cd from farnell and on the front label is written logo soft comfort V8.4.

The problem occurs when I try to connect to the 8.3 controller with the logo soft comfort V8.4 installed on the USB stick.

Connecting and programming the 8.2 FS4 controllers with the logo soft comfort V8.4 installed on the USB stick doesn`t pose any problem.

Sorry if my question may be stupid but I`m new to this: The certificate I could found in the directory “res” on the USB stick? 

I have installed those 2 certificates found in “res” folder on USB stick both on user and work station/machine as it asks when you double click the certificate( both ways: custom and normal installation). I have also tried the custom mode where you could specify on what folder do you want the certificate to be installed → a pop up window appeared with many location folders → I have installed the certificate in the first 3. Nothing worked !

In the last 2 days I`ve took the following actions and nothing worked so far:

-installed the “LOGO Root CA V1.0”  and “LOGO V8.4 Root CA V1.0” certificate from Logo soft “res” folder, from Logo Web editor “res” folder, from installation cd (Windows).

- updated the Windows 10 license from home to Pro, and followed the video tutorial to activate the certificates 

- deleted the V8.4 certificate and tried to connect only with first certificate. Installed again v8.4 and deleted the LOGO Root CA certificate.

Nothing is working.

Hello, problem has been solved.

I had to uninstall the certificates, the logo soft comfort demo from computer, and the logo soft comfort from usb stick. After that I have installed Logo soft comfort from installation CD on PC and upgraded it to V8.4.1 and after that installed the certificate. I have aligned the PC and Logo device clock and everything worked.
