Hi, I am trying to implement a counter into a program. The count function works fine in the simulation, but not when uploaded to the LOGO. I tried a basic program to see if I am still having the same issue and it happened again. In simulation mode, pressing C2 counts up each press. On the PLC, in online mode, the red lines flashes before the counter, but does not increase the count. 

Has anyone else experienced this or know of any fixes? I am running V8.4.1 on a LOGO 8.4. This is my first project so apologies if it's something basic!

Do not forget that for using the cursor key you do need to keep pressing ESC key and then the cursor key.

Your program cannot work in a real LOGO!.

For the cursor key to be recognized in the program, the ESC key must also be pressed. First, press and hold the ESC key, and then press the cursor key.
However, since no message text is active in the program, pressing the ESC key constantly switches from the LOGO! start screen to the LOGO! menu.

Thanks for the reply! I am doing that already, and can see on the online view that the cursor is being pressed and the signal to the counter becomes red temporarily. The cursor is programmed as a momentary push button (make).

Any other tips would be much appreciated.

... this is the answer! I was expecting the counter to change live like in the simulation. I have now run it again with the binoculars and i see the count increasing. Also added an AQ to see it too.
