I have posted a couple of times about problems from this machine that im fixing which i have been able to solve until now.

The issue that i am now having is that on my vertical axis (Y) i have vibrations that you can both hear and feel on the machine when i move the vertical axis down.

This machine has a counter weight attached to the ram which goes up when the ram goes down.

I have had a look at the machine mechanically and everything seems to be ok.

Another thing i have seen is that when i change the encoder from the external linear encoder to the motor encoder i dont have these vibrations which makes me think that it has to do with adjusting parameters.

Does anyone know what parameters can help me with this vibration?

Attached is a gif of the bottom of the ballscrew that when i move the ram up it stops straight away but when i move it down (where it vibrates) it seems not to stop right away, it looks for the position a bit before stopping
