I have been using CP5512 for more than 20 years --I use it to communicate SIMATIC Magner to S7-300/400/200 PLC CPU or PROFIBUS and PLC CPU INSIDE SINUMERIK 840D NCU.

Recently --I have 2 of customers they purchased from online market   --CP5511 adaptor as the price is lower (only 20 to 25% of CP5512)

see picture, it is only printed CP5511, but on my adaptor there print "CP5511/CP5512"

Can some of expert and my question as my topic
