[WinCC Flex 2008] Can't Shift Decimal in IO Field

patrickt Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am using WinCC Flexible 2008 to create a program for a TP177B Color HMI interfaced with a 315-2 DP CPU. I have an integer tag from the CPU that I would like to display as a decimal (more specifically, I want to display the integer divided by 10) but WinCC will not allow me to change the "Shift Decimal Point" field from 0 to 1. I understand that I could use function blocks in the CPU program to convert the integer to a floating point tag, but this is more work than should be necessary. What am I doing wrong?

Then you have 1 digit behind decimal point. When you select more places in 'Format Pattern', you can have more digits behind decimal point. Hope this will helps. Best regards Hristo Mihalev
