Hi, it's definitively NOT possible to use FM351. Here you can find a list of all possible modules: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/11886029 SIMOTION uses servo drives. You should use this because of positioning quality. If you REALLY want to switch a signal with binary outputs then a solution might be to configure an TO external encoder in SIMOTION (e.g. use the second encoder of a SINAMICS drive or use an PROFIBUS encoder with PROFIdrive telegram --> see Siemens encoders) and then use this encoder as an "TO external encoder". With the external encoder, you can configure output cams -- you can use this to switch DO-signals depending on the position. (solution by application -- this means it's not possible to use SIMOTION motion control commands) .... I think, using servo drives would be bettet.... Regards Jerry |
