I tried other SFC 6551x and they works with 400 (CPU doesn’t STOP) but I don’t have (yet) discovered what these are for. There are less chances for Siemens to come back with some details about these functions [:mad:] Dec.

Most of those SFC 6xxxx are for special functions, there are also some of those for the F and H systems. [:o] I wouldn't think that Siemens will give a lot of information of those SFC's because the other firms are also reading this information and have a good idea whats in the CPUs. [:(]

Dec Gold Expert Joined: 5/19/2006 Last visit: 10/23/2024 Posts: 549 Rating: (107)	I was able to figure out another SFC65507 that writes a raw message into the CPU buffer message - similar to SFC52 - WR_USMSG but with no restrictions regarding the EventID etc. All the params are supplied using ACCU 1-3 See attached. I tested with CPU-400 Dec Attachment Wr_msg_r.zip (1113 Downloads)
