OK. I have a static public IP , a router and a Simotion C230 in the private network. Static public IP: 80.34.xxx.xxx which is accessible for everyone; Mask: 255.255.255.0. Router private IP: 172.26.0.1; Mask: 255.255.255.0. C230 private IP:172.26.0.10; Mask: 255.255.255.0. Scout uses port 102 for communication. In the NAT tables of the router, port 102 is redirected to 172.26.0.10:102 so when a communication is established from outside to public IP 80.34.xxx.xxx:102, the router translates it to 172.26.0.10:102. Whem my PG is part of the private network I have no problem because Simotion's etherned interface is configured like in the picture 'C230 config. working from private network.JPG'. To be able to connect to the C230 from outside it is necessary to change Simotion's etherned interface and put there the static public IP (80.34.xxx.xxx). 'C230 config. working from outside.JPG'. This way I can connect via the Internet to the C230. The problem is that when I am connected via the Internet, Scout detects changes in the hardware configuration (Simotion's etherned interface has been changed) and for every change in the project, hardware must be downloaded. When hardware is downloaded connection to the device is lost. That is why I wanted to know if there is any possibility to download just the program and TO objects but not the hardware. What is the solution? Regards, giza Attachmentimages.zip (611 Downloads) |

Hello, for this configuration is no solution available. Download SIMOTION without HWConfig is supported with Version 4.1.2 from SIMOTION, but there are many restriction with this feature (consisteny, Watchtabeles etc.). In following FAQ you can find any solutions to communicate with SPS over internet: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/26662448 Regards Christoph |
